COMPANY HISTORY
The name Schmid & Kahlert has stood for profession and efficient handling of moves for over 170 years
The parent company was founded in Breslau in 1830 Joseph Kahlert, who was the appointed Court mover of the Royal House of Saxony.
After the 2nd World War the successive rebuilding took place in Wiesbaden in 1946 icl. the expansion into oversea shipping and the collaboration with renowned US-companies. 1970 the current owner took over the company and it followed a systematical development in oversea relocation and warehousing.
In 1981 our headquarters were established in Mainz-Kastel.
Our company guarantees its customers comprehensive know-how in the field of worldwide moving logistics, with a modern fleet, low-emission vehicles (EURO 5 standard and EURO 6 standard), and the experience of more than 100 employees. An internal quality management system in accordance with DIN EN 12522 ensures quality of service.
